Customer emails
Invoice Inn can email every invoice and credit note to the customer as a PDF the moment it is created, under your store’s name and in the customer’s language. It is off after setup and takes one card on the Automations page to turn on. It works on every plan, including Free.
Where the settings live
Section titled “Where the settings live”Three cards on Automations cover customer emails. Email delivery is the switch: whether documents are emailed at all, which kinds, how business customers are handled, the From name and Reply-to email, and a separate copy to an internal address. Email content & language holds the subject and body per language, the language rule, extra attachments and a test send. Email branding sets the logo and accent colour of the email itself.
A document you create by hand from Orders is emailed under the same rules as an automatic one. Sending a single document to any address, whatever the rules say, is the Send email action on the Documents page.
What the app does not do
Section titled “What the app does not do”- It does not send payment reminders. Invoice Inn does not track whether an invoice was paid.
- It does not send from your own domain. Emails go out from Invoice Inn’s address with your From name, and replies go to your Reply-to email.
- It does not track opens or bounces.
